Description: The mandriva-one-2007 image is the installed version of the Mandriva One CD (http://www.mandriva.com/en/community/mandrivaone). It has been created on a DELL Latitude 610 Laptop running Windows XP SP2.It provides everything for your office work, Internet and multimedia. More can be installed (an Internet connection is needed) using the software management tool.
The environment built in this image has been configured as followed: Language: English Keyboard: US international Monitor/Resolution: 1024x768 Network: ethernet, DHCP Automatic login on 1 user/password: tux/qemuisgreat Root credential: root/qemuisgreat
All the above options and more are configurable using the Mandriva Control Center ('Configure your computer' menu option).
The size of mandriva-one-2007.qcow.img is a bit less than 1G and is expendable to 10G.
The suggested Qemu invocation command is the following:
qemu -L . -hda mandriva-one-2007.qcow.img -m 256 -boot c -kernel-kqemu
It supposes that the image has been uncompressed in the same directory as the qemu bios file (bios.bin), that there is 256MB RAM available to run qemu and that the Qemu accelerator is installed and running.
