About the image
This QEMU image was created on a Host system running FreeBSD-6.1-RELEASE x86 using QEMU 0.8.1_1 and kqemu-kmod-1.3.0.p7 built from FreeBSD's ports system.
The network interface is set to DHCP - please see /etc/rc.conf to change to a static address. You may also want to consult /etc/resolv.conf if you find that you can't resolve DNS addresses. If you are not familiar with FreeBSD, please check out the Handbook and FAQ's located @ http://www.freebsd.org
I took the liberty to install a few other applications after the base install. cvsup-withoutgui as well as portupgrade. The default shell was also changed from sh to bash. Lastly, I installed pico as vi is a pain in the ass. These applications were all built within QEMU using the ports system.
The only user on the system is root and the password is ' freebsd '. Additional users can be added by running the adduser command.
